COTSWOLD Vets in Cirencester are searching for the owner of a lost West Highland Terrier, found near Cricklade.

The male Westie in question was picked up near the A419 heading towards Cricklade and was found with a lead and collar on but was not microchipped.

When he was brought into the vets on the morning of Saturday, July 19 he appeared to be in good health and posed for a photo which has now been shared via the Cotswold Vets’ Facebook page over 400 times.

He is not castrated and is currently being looked after by the people who found him.

Police in both Wiltshire and Gloucestershire have been informed and, for now, he is being referred to as Archie as a temporary name.

If you recognise this dog or know someone in the Cricklade area who is missing a West Highland Terrier please call the Cotswold Vets on 01285861090.
