POLICE are still appealing for witnesses after a six-year-old girl was killed in a car crash on the weekend near Kempsford.
The single vehicle crash occured on the C124 near Kempsford, about 400m west of the Street, Marston Meysey, shortly before 1pm.
A blue Land Rover Discovery came off the carriageway and crashed into a hedge.
A six-year-old girl who was travelling in the car died from her injuries at the scene.
The 26-year-old female driver was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where she remains in a critical condition.
The two other passengers in the car, a seven-year-old boy and a two-year-old boy were also taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
The two-year-old boy was discharged but the seven-year-old remains in hospital with minor injuries.
Officers are uging any witnesses to come forward and contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
