CHILDREN at Mighty Oaks after school club and Acorns Nursery in Cirencester were thrilled to receive a visit from the police and the fire brigade.
Pupils at the after school club, who come from Powell's, Kemble, Ampney Crucis and Cirencester Primary schools climbed around the service vehicles, learnt about heat proof clothing, ladders and rescue tools, and even got to hear the police siren.
Some children were even able to have a go firing water out of the the fire station's hose.
