SHERSTON’s Gallic side was out in force at the weekend as players from all over the country wielded their boules in a battle for sporting glory.
Teams with names like the Boules Busters, the Holy Rollers, Accountaboules and Norfolk ‘n’ Hope were taking part in the annual tournament that sees the village high street taken over by pistes, stalls and entertainers.
The day was part of a weekend programme of carnival events.
