WILTSHIRE Wildlife Trust are hosting a family open day at its Blakehill Nature Reserve near this Saturday, July 19.
The event has been organised to celebrate Oak and Furrows Wildlife Rescue Centre signing a lease which will allow them to move their headquarters to the reserve from Somerford Keyes.
It will also mark the launch of the Wildlife Trust’s wildflower conservation project, Save our Magnificent Meadows.
The main event will take place on Rook Tree Ground, near the main farm unit, there will also be a quiet zone set up at the rear of Pool Ground.
Various groups will have stalls at the open day, including Oak and Furrows which will be bringing along hedgehogs, Refreshments, a BBQ and toilets can be found in the Whitworth.
The event takes place between 1pm and 5pm.
