FREE music lessons are being offered to residents who join up via Gloucestershire Music’s website.

Locals who sign up will receive a free introductory music session at a centre near them, with lessons taking place in Cirencester, Stroud, Tewkesbury and elsewhere.

Cllr Paul McLain, Cabinet member for children and young people and commissioning said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to try a musical instrument free of charge and take up a new hobby if you enjoy the session.”

During your free session you will be given the chance to try a clarinet, trumpet, baritone or violin before deciding which one is for you.

A further nine lessons are then provided at your music centre for an introductory price of £50, with bursaries available for those on low incomes.
