A PERFORMANCE by legendary Irish artist Sinéad O’Connor has further added to the line up at this year’s WOMAD.
Closing the Open Air Stage on Sunday night, Sinéad will play a host of her most acclaimed hits and will debut several tracks from her upcoming album entitled ‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss’.
Sinéad has been brought in to fill the space in the program left after the death of soul legend Bobby Womack, who died last month.
Also joining this year’s line up is 27-year-old Samantha Crain, an Oklahoman of Choctaw heritage who writes charmingly tuneful country-folk, performed with a down-to-earth manner.
Samantha will appear on the Ecotricity Stage on Sunday evening replacing Soema Montenegro, who sadly can’t make this year’s festival.
