A NEW library at Kingshill School is finally up and running after a year in the making.
It has been almost a year since construction began on the new library at the Cirencester school. Now pupils are able to enjoy the new space with electric windows, which respond to both heat and rain and close automatically when rain hits them.
New science laboratories have also been created to accommodate the increasing number of pupils at the school.
The official opening of both the library and the laboratories will be in the autumn this year but students have already started enjoying the new facilities.
Sarah Watson, a spokeswoman for the school, said she was delighted that pupils are enjoying the facilities.
