AIR tattoo organisers are overjoyed to announce that HRH the Prince of Wales will be attending the show tomorrow to enjoy the special Red Arrows Pit Day.

Prince Charles, who lives nearby in Highgrove, Tetbury, will be attending the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford on Friday, July 11 when the Red Arrows will be celebrating their 50th display anniversary.

The Prince will meet the pilots and aircrew following the display. To makr their anniversary, the team will also be performing a special flypast with aircraft flown by team leaders from the Patrouille de France, Patrouille Suisse, Frecce Tricolori and Breitling Jet Team.

He will also visit the airshow’s Techno Zone, an interactive area sponsored by Lockheed Martin which brings engineering and technology to life. Here he will meet youngsters and members of the Air Cadets.
