1) Cotswold Show

It’s finally here! This weekend is the 26th annual Cotswold Show, held in Cirencester Park. Held on both Saturday and Sunday, the show features birds of prey, a 100-stall food festival with tasting sessions and cake decorating, the popular Shetland Pony Grand National, a tractor display, dog show and so much more. 2) St Lawrence’s Church fun day in Bourton

This year's St.Lawrence's Church Fun Day in Bourton-on-the-Water is at village hall and on the Green on Saturday, July 5 from 10am to 4pm. Stalls will include tombola, games, nearly new clothes and accessories, bric-a-brac, duck racing and the stocks, giving visitors the opportunity to pelt the church reverend and local councillors and other well known local figures with wet sponges.

3) Circus Pazaz in Broadway

St Mary’s summer fete with Circus Pazaz is at Broadway Village Green this Saturday, July 5. Circus shows for children are at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. £5 per ticket and under two’s go free. Call 07713 349536 for more.

4) The Feathered Aviator Exhibition

The Feathered Aviator exhibition at the New Brewery Arts in Cirencester is officially opening this Saturday, July 5 at 2pm. Visitors can meet the artist Celia Smith, who created the wire birds for the gallery, as part of the town’s First World War commemorations. The exhibition lasts until September 7. 5) Kemble school barbecue and summer fete

A fun family fete at Kemble Primary School is being held on Sunday, July 6 from 1-3pm. There will be a barbecue from 1pm with a Pimms and real ale bar, maypole dancing, a bouncy castle, tombolas, a cake stall and more. Entry is £1 for adults but children are free.
