BEAUTIFUL babies and a range of fun and games have helped Cirencester Hospital League of Friends raise an impressive £2,605 for Cirencester hospital.
The annual fete and baby show enjoyed warm weather and a return to the hospital’s lawn with attractions ranging from a fortune teller to a traditional cake sale.
Sophie Croome took the title of Baby of the Year after winning the 9-12 month old category and parents and children alike enjoyed a performance from Magic Wiz, a Cirencester magician.
Chairman of the Cirencester Hospital League of Friends Sheila Rees described the event as brilliant and thanked all those who made it happen.
She said “It was a good old fashioned village fete atmosphere and we raised a good amount of money for a great cause.”
Money from the event will go towards Cirencester Hospital’s £35,000 wish list which includes fans for every patient, blood pressure monitors built into the walls and specialist chairs for stroke patients.
