A TEAM from the headquarters of Mitsubishi Motors in Cirencester will be raising money for Race for Life with a charity car wash this weekend.

The team will be cleaning cars, inside and out, for a donation of £10 at the Mitsubishi Specialist Vehicle Operations (MSVO) at Love Lane Industrial Estate from 9.30am on Saturday, July 5.

Mitsubishi’s fleet of heritage vehicles, including the Tommy Makinen Edition Lancer Evolution VI, 1986 Starion Turbo 2.0l ‘Wide Body’ and the Model A, will also be on display as part of the celebrations of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK’s 40th anniversary.

The aim is to raise money to go towards the team's total for Race for Life on July 20 at Cirencester Park and want to beat their total of last year's £1,600.

Cirencester event manager for Race for Life Michelle Leighton said: “It’s fantastic that the ladies at Mitsubishi are taking part in Cirencester again this year.

"We really appreciate their continued support. With their fundraising from last year and this year’s ambition to raise more, their contribution to Cancer Research UK will be really appreciated by the scientists, doctors and nurses who do the life saving work for the charity into all 200 types of cancer."
