THIRTY members of the 3rd Wotton Bassett Brownies made a visit to the Cotswold Water Park as part of their work towards their Out and About badges.

They were challenged to navigate the area using a Walks Guide of the area and local landmarks, and to guide the adults on a circular walk around one of the lakes near the Gateway Information Centre in South Cerney.

Brownies leader Susan Finnegan said “3rd Royal Wotton Bassett Brownies and their leaders had a great time map reading at Cotswold Water Park, as part of their work towards their Out and About badge.”

The evening activity was organised by Jill Bewley, of the Cotswold Water Park Trust, who said “The 3rd Wotton Bassett Brownies have been visiting the Cotswold Water Park for several years now, and we are always really pleased to help encourage them to explore the area, and to discover different places.”
