A WOMAN in her sixties has suffered head injuries after her car crashed on the A435 near Rendcomb College.

The woman, from Cirencester, was driving her Citroen between North Cerney and Perrott's Brook when her car crashed and fell onto it's side at about 1.30pm today.

Police do not yet know how the crash happened.

An ambulance attended and a passing doctor also stopped to help.

The road will be opened as soon as possible, police said.
