A CIRENCESTER quiz and raffle night at the Golden Cross Inn last weekend raised £348 for charity Cancer Research UK.
The quiz, set up to raise money for the Wilts and Glos Standard's Race for Life team, "Local News Ladies" welcomed more than 40 people on the night.
Raffle prizes, including Cotswold Show tickets, a box of Lick the Spoon chocolates, a bottle of Black Moth Truffle vodka and more, were kindly donated by businesses across the district.
Organisers of the quiz Megan Archer and Emma Gray have said thank you to those who came to the charity event, all those who donated raffle prizes and everyone at the Golden Cross Inn for providing the Stable Bar and cooking all guests a meal of chilli con carne.
