TWO men are in hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision after the motorcycles they were driving collided on Saturday, June 14 on the B4425 between Barnsley and Bibury.

Police were called after the collision involving a Suzuki and a Yamaha took place near to the Arlington Pike crossroads, around 3pm.

Both motorcylclists were taken to hospital in Bristol, one by air ambulance and the other by road ambulance.

The road was closed at Bibury Village while police dealt with the incident.

One of the riders is a 28-year-old local man and the other is a 54-year-old male from Hemel Hempstead.

Anyone with any information about the collision is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 300 June 14.
