A CIRENCESTER man has been bailed following his arrest for the suspected murdering his baby son.
Emergency services were called to an address in Cirencester following concerns for the health of a baby boy shortly before 1.20pm on Tuesday, June 10.
He was taken to Bristol Children's Hospital but died the next day.
On Friday, June 13, a man in his twenties from the town was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the case.
He was released on bail shortly afterwards and ordered to report to Cheltenham police station on October 13.
A police spokesman said that the man has been given a longer than usual bail period to allow a forensic investigation to take place.
