A CHELTENHAM man has been charged with breaching his Football Banning Order conditions under the Football Spectators Act.
Aaron Cawley ,23, of Blenheim Square, who is currently subject to a six year Football Banning Order, is charged with failing to hand in his passport as required by June 9, for the duration of the World Cup 2014, to prevent him traveling abroad to watch England Matches.
People subject to a Banning Order may be required to surrender their passports for the duration of any World Cup/Euro competition in order to prevent travel to overseas matches.
He is due to appear in Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 24, and his passport will be retained by police until the World Cup concludes.
