Saddles and horse tack stolen in Moreton In Marsh

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a number of saddles and associated horse tack and equipment from a farm at Addlestrop near Moreton in Marsh.

In all,16 saddles and about 20 bridles, a horse massager, a horse ultra sound system, as well as some Italian tack, collectively worth several thousand pounds, were taken overnight between June 4 and 5 . The stolen items include rare, made to measure ‘Pariani’ saddles.

Gloucestershire Rural Watch and www.horsewatch.co.uk have been notified of this burglary.

Anyone with information or who recognises the stolen saddle pictured, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting Crime Number 12608/14 and Incident Number 43 of June 5.
