THE White Hart pub in Ashton Keynes pub is holding an exhibition which depicts pub-goers past and present this Friday, June 13.

Cirencester College photography student, Jamie Lyon's pictures of those who currently prop up the bar at the pub will be displayed alongside 30 images of people who have drunk there over the past few hundred years.

Jon Hughes, landlord of the pub, said: “We came up with the idea when we were at a festival in Copenhagen. They had some old photos of places around the town. We thought it would be a nice idea to do it at the pub.

“Putting this together has been fantastic. It is very much a community pub and we wanted to do it for our regulars.”

Among the current regulars featured in the photographs is , Basil Carter, who is 90 this month and has knocked back pints in the White Hart for over 50 years.
