WILTSHIRE Police and Crime Commissioner Angus Macpherson is out of intensive care.
Mr Macpherson, who was rushed to hospital on May 30 while visiting Dr Andrew Murrison, the MP for South West Wiltshire in Trowbridge, is recovering on a ward at Bath Royal United Hospital.
Kieran Kilgallen, Chief Executive of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, who met members of Mr Macpherson’s family yesterday afternoon, said: “He is sitting up in his bed on the ward, talking to his family and continuing to improve steadily.
“He has asked that we pass on his thanks for the very many messages he has received wishing him a speedy recovery.”
