A SPA in Cirencester that closed down without warning almost a month ago has now been put on the market.

Angry customers of Pure Beauty Spa hit out after the business closed at the beginning of May without giving any notice to its staff or customers.

Many were left out of pocket, after pre-booking treatments worth hundreds of pounds at the Cricklade Street beauty salon.

No-one from Pure Beauty Spa has been available to comment.

Earlier last week the spa was put on the market by Cirencester estate agents Thomson and Partners.

It is available to let at £9,000 per year exclusively.

Chesterton mum Alvina Sampson and her husband were left £60 short after the spa suddenly shut down.

“I had been using the spa ever since I moved to Cirencester seven years ago and this is the first time this has happened,” said Alvina.

“I’m not impressed. The owner must have known she was going to have to close before she did but to take money and bookings from customers in the week before is just wrong.”

A building surveyor organised by the estate agents was seen popping in to the business last week to check over the property.
