A 41 year old Cirencester man who has denied ten sex offences against a girl in her mid-teens is to be tried in September.
Joao de Sousa, of St Michael's Road, Cirencester, will need a Portuguese interpreter to assist him when his trial, lasting up to four days, starts on September 22, Gloucester Crown Court was told today, De Sousa has denied five offences of sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl between May 2011 and June 2012.
He has also denied a further five charges of sexual activity with the same girl between June and November 2012 when she was fourteen.
He was granted bail pending trial.
