ST Mary’s Primary School in Tetbury are forging links with Forest Green Rovers (FGR) FC through a scheme which will allow a pupil to parade with players before matches.

Through the Ambassador scheme, a pupil will be tasked with raising the profile of the Nailsworth based Conference Premier outfit within the school, whilst getting leadership experience.

The ambassador will appear with the players before kick off on two matches each season and be awarded a complimentary team shirt, a free season ticket and other goodies.

As part of the successful applicants role, they are expected to update a dedicated noticeboard, mention results in assemblies or include something in the school newsletter.
