ORGANISERS from Sapperton Primary School’s Scottish heritage event are overjoyed that it raised over three thousand pounds.

The cash from the event at Park Corner Farm on Saturday, May 17 will be split between the school and the village’s St Kenelms Church.

More than 400 people enjoyed a variety of attractions such as highland dancing and a dog show plus stalls that included ones from pupils from the school who sold products they created through a business scheme.

Kate Somers, a spokesman for the school said: “We are very happy with how it all went this year. We have even had people come from far and wide from places such as Bristol Cardiff and London.

“There was a bit of something for everybody. The dog show was extremely popular as is the games.”
