A KEMBLE woman has been shortlisted for a prestigious award for helping people with eating disorders and those who care for them.
Pat Ayres, MBE, who founded and facilitates the Cirencester Support Group and has personal experience of supporting her daughter through an eating disorder, could pick up the Beat Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award has been created by Beat , a leading UK eating disorder charity, and Pat will find out if she has won it at the Beat Volunteer Recognition Awards which take place on June 4.
