SCHOOLCHILDREN were treated to the wonders of science as part of a explosive live show last week at Bradon Forest School.
The Wow Show was organised by the school’s Science Department and taught guest primary school pupils about harnessing energy using experiments too dangerous for the classroom.
Pupils from several schools that included Catherine Wayte, Haydon Leigh and Haydon Wick, enjoyed several lively demonstrations that included fire and explosions.
A spokesman for Bradon Forest, Jennifer Purcell, said: “The audiences have really enjoyed the shows, of which we've had four in two days. The reactions have been electric and there's been a real buzz in the school theatre. We hope that the pupils come away with a passion for finding out how things work.”
