CIRENCESTER councillor Joe Harris has been re-elected as town mayor for another year.
At Cirencester Town Council's annual meeting on Tuesday, May 13 Cllr Harris was nominated to be mayor until May 2015. All members voted for him to be re-elected.
Cllr Deryk Nash said: "I am delighted to give you a seond year as mayor and I fully propose this."
Chief executive of the council Andrew Tubb said he looked forward to another year with Cllr Harris as mayor.
Cllr Harris said to the council: "Thank you for your continued support for the last year.
"We have had our differences in the past but the great thing about this council is that we find these problems and then move on."
Cllr Mark Harris was also re-elected as deputy mayor for another year.
