POLICE are appealing for information after a man committed a lewd act in Stroud on Thursday April 17.

The incident happened when a group of children saw the man commit a lewd act in the vicinity of the canal near Bath Road, following which it is believed he ran off along the canalside towards Bath Road. He has been seen in the area on a number of occasions.

He is described as white, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, of muscular build and between18 and 20 years of age.

And as having short blond hair and slight facial hair, wearing black/blue square glasses, blue denim jeans and a black hoody.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 440 of April 17.
