LLOYDS Pharmacy in Tetbury has been transformed into a specialist for skin conditions and pain management.

The pharmacy has been given the face lift as part of a vision by Lloyds to deliver flexible and innovative healthcare services to its customers both in store and online.

As part of the conversion, the Tetbury branch now offers free, enhanced services for skin health and pain management, plus a range of other conditions

Pharmacy manager, Matthew Cope, said: “We are delighted to be a pioneer in a project that will do much to raise awareness of healthcare needs at a local level.

“What we want to do is help people discuss their health problems, offer support on how we can help them and how they can help themselves, all in relaxed surroundings where people can feel more comfortable talking about their concerns.

The pharmacy was opened earlier this month by former Tetbury GP, Dr Tony Walsh, who used to work at Romney House Surgery, on Long Street.

Following the refurbishment, the pharmacy now provides a skin service that covers all aspects of skin health, from medicine management advice for people on prescription treatment to medicated skin products.

Pain management is another area where the Tetbury pharmacy team now offers enhanced support, though its LloydsPharmacy pain control service.

LloydsPharmacy in Tetbury is open from 9am to 6.30pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday.
