A CIRENCESTER woman bravely kissed goodbye to her hair and raised £550 for a blood cancer charity.

Doris Land had her head shaved by her daughter Nikki at a table top sale at Mulberry Court housing complex, Cirencester which was set up to raise funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

“It went quite well. The response has been very good I am very pleased,” said Doris.

“I am hoping it will come back blonde and curly.”

Doris added that since posting a video of the headshave on her facebook page she is receiving more donations every day.

The table top sale, was organised by residents of Mulberry Court and raised £160 for the charity.
