A NORTHLEACH teenager has raised over £1,800 for children's charity Starlight by kayaking 125 miles from Devizes to Westminster.
Jago Reeves, 17, from Northleach and his friend Monty Eayrs, 16, from Marlborough successfully completed the epic kayak challenge in 23 hours and 46 minutes and raised £300 more than their original goal.
The Marlborough College school friends completed the challenge over the Easter holidays to raise money for Starlight, a charity that grants wishes for seriously or terminally ill children.
Jago said training had been hard but that the thought of being able to provide happiness to children through Starlight pushed them forward to complete the challenge.
