THE team behind Lechlade Music Festival revealed all to celebrate their win in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
The three-day festival, which this year takes place on May 23-25 has been crowned Midlands Champion in the national awards for its involvement in the community.
Community groups involved this year include pupils from St Lawrence School, Lechlade with its school choir and maypole dancing, and Farmor’s School in Fairford.
Festival director Jennie Rainsford said: “Other winners posed in their cafes and bars, while we had nothing but an empty field until the festival weekend came around.
“A bit of creative thinking and a few bottles of red wine later and the team agreed to a daring photo shoot.”
The team will be heading to the House of Lords next week along with other regional finalists in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
Tickets for this year’s festival are on sale now with tickets priced at £57 for the weekend.
Children aged 16 and under go free. Visit lechladefestival.co.uk for more.
