POLICE are appealing for information after a distinctive coat was stolen from a stall at this year’s Cheltenham National Hunt Festival.

The incident happened at the tented village area of the race course between 7.30pm on Thursday March 13 and 9.40am on Friday March 14.

Offender(s) have entered the secured stand overnight and took a blue pin-striped woollen tail coat, size 14. It is one of only 30 made and worth several hundred pounds.

Anyone who may have information on this incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 103 of March 14.
