A NEW recruitment business has been launched in Minchinhampton which aims to encourage more companies to adopt a flexible working approach.

The Flexible Resource Company was created by Tracey Adams after she tried to find part time work following the birth of her children.

The working mother of two found that employers and skilled professionals are starting to take a different view of the traditional nine-to-five Monday to Friday working week and are instead opting to be more flexible in their jobs.

She has set up her recruitment company to try and find experienced, professional people the part-time and flexible jobs they want, but often can’t find.

"I realised there wasn't an obvious place to go to match talented individuals who wanted to find interesting, flexible work with open minded businesses who could see the benefit of employing someone with these skills on something other than a standard nine to five working week," said Tracey.

"I've had a fantastic response from businesses I've spoken to about this. Hiring highly skilled staff without full-time salaries can lead to increased loyalty and productivity.”

“Remote-working, short contracts, term-time only and part-time hours are some of the things we specialise in,” she added.

Tracey is now calling for more businesses to step forward and let her know if they need an employee with a specific skill but perhaps cannot afford a full-time professional, as she may have one registered with her.
