POLICE have issued an appeal to trace a wanted Gloucester man.

Jamal Tyne, 19 and originally from Gloucester, was convicted of assault in 2012.

He was released from prison earlier this year on licence but it is believed he has returned to Gloucester in recent weeks, breaching the terms of his release.

Officers are urging anyone who knows where he is or has any information about his whereabouts to get in touch.

While Tyne is not believed to be a risk to the general public, it is advised that anyone who sees him does not approach him but call 999, quoting incident 174 of March 20.

Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
