Cirencester man, accused of rape and sexual assault, to stand trial in August following not guilty plea
A CIRENCESTER man is to stand trial in August after pleading not guilty to rape and sexual assault charges.
Lee Alan Manger, 26, of Siddington Road, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Wednesday, February 5 where he denied raping a woman between January 30 and March 1, 2012.
He also denied touching the same woman sexually July 15 and September 1, 2011.
Kerry Barker, prosecuting, said the trial is likely to last between four and five days.
Mr Manger was released on conditional bail until a pre-trial hearing on Monday, July 7.
He was told not to contact his alleged victim.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC listed the full trial to start on Monday, August 11.
