Firefighters tackle serious fire near Royal Wootton Bassett
FIREFIGHTERS from Cricklade, Malmesbury and Chippenham are helping to battle a serious barn fire near Royal Wootton Bassett.
Acetylene and liquid petroleum gas cylinders are involved in the fire at Vastern and a 200 metre safety cordon has been set up. A workshop has also been affected.
Crews from Swindon, Westlea, Calne, Marlborough are on the scene along with a water carrier from Ramsbury and an incident commant vehicle from Stratton.
The alarm was raised just before 1pm.
