GLOUCESTERSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist the police to remove a trailer after a road traffic collision on the A40 near Sherborne last night (Friday, February 14).

One pump with six fire fighters from Northleach station attended the incident which occurred around 9pm.

Crews assisted the police by removing a trailer from the carriageway, firefighters also isolated a gas bottle that was leaking as a result from the collision.

Firefighters were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
