THE issue of Cirencester’s Christmas market chalets being left to rot out in the rain has caused outrage among readers of the Standard.
Many feel that the chalets have been a massive waste of taxpayers’ money after costing an estimated £30,000 and only being used for two Christmases.
The Standard has since been contacted by a number of readers who have their own ideas about what the chalets should be used for.
Suggestions, so far, include using them as temporary overnight accommodation for those people who are living on the streets.
We want to hear from you and what you think the chalets should be used for – the more innovative the better.
