A LATE night crash in the Stroud Road area of Cirencester ended with two people being taken to hospital.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 11.15pm on Friday, February 7 and quickly called for assistance from the ambulance service.
One fire engine, carrying five firefighters, from Cirencester Community Fire Station attended the incident.
The incident commander confirmed that two people were safely removed from a vehicle and were taken to hospital by the South Western Ambulance Service.
Fire crews stayed at the scene for roughly 35 minutes to make sure the area was safe by disconnecting the vehicle's battery and washing down the area involved.
