The former Chief Executive of the Cotswold Water Park Society has today, Friday February 7, been sentenced to 1,237 days in prison for failing to pay money back to the Cotswold Water Park.
In July 2011 Dennis Grant, 66, of Banbury in Oxfordshire, was sentenced to four years imprisonment having entered a guilty plea to six charges of fraud by false representation.
The 66-year-old was accused of having money paid into his own bank accounts rather than those of the Water Park.
He was found to have benefited from the fraud to the sum of £707,291.25p.
At Gloucester Crown Court on November 30, 2012 he was issued with a confiscation order ordering him to pay £318,949.71p to the Cotswold Water Park over the following 12 months.
He appeared at North Somerset Magistrates Court in Weston-Super-Mare today (Friday February 7) after failing to pay £305,000 of the money owed and was sentenced to an additional 1237 days in prison.
