A MAN is in hospital with life-changing head injuries after he was hit by a car as it tried to overtake on the A429 between the Kemble and Culkerton turnings at the entrance to Kemble airfield, last night (Thursday, February 7).
The man, who was thought to be in his 30s or 40s, was taken to the Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, where he remains in a critical condition, after being hit by grey Ford Focus driven by a 31-year-old Malmesbury woman.
Police were called to scene at around 7.15pm yesterday evening and closed the road for around four hours.
Anyone with any further information on this incident is asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 419 of February, 6.
