A HOUSE in Siddington has sustained severe damage following a night-time blaze.

Fire crews from Cirencester Fire Station were called to the property in The Twenties at around 12.15am on Tuesday, January 21 and were on the scene within 10 minutes.

A woman was inside the house and was treated for “slight injuries” by the firefighters at the scene.

The fire was under control by 1.15am but, due to the severity of damage to the building, crews remained at the scene until just before 2.30am.
