CIRENCESTER Town Council has had a helping hand in delivering its Green Spaces Strategy from a group of green fingered students from the Royal Agricultural University.
The students, who are all working towards a degree in environmental conservation and heritage management, have become involved in a number of the town council’s outdoor projects.
Some of the projects include improving the biodiversity of the land at Querns Wood and working with schoolchildren at the annual apple juicing event.
A spokesman for the university said: “RAU students clearly benefit not only from the work itself and the real world experience gained from this but also from the range of contacts they develop, enhancing their chances of future employment.”
