A GLOUCESTERSHIRE woman has died in a crash between two cars while driving on the A40 between Northleach and Burford.
The 57-year-old woman was driving towards Northleach at around 6.50am today on the A40 near the old disused Windrush Hotel.
Her car, a white Suzuki Swift collided with a light blue Ford Focus being driven by a 55-year-old Gloucestershire man.
The man, who was travelling towards Oxford at the time of the crash, was taken to Gloucester Hospital with minor injuries. The woman died at the scene.
The A40 is expected to be closed for the next few hours while police investigate.
