A CAR has been sitting in the middle of a Cirencester roundabout for three weeks after the driver was involved in a crash before Christmas.
The damaged vehicle has been left on the A429 Burford Road roundabout, by the Co-operative and Travelodge, for more than a fortnight, covered in police tape, with no owner arriving to reclaim it.
According to an employee at a nearby business, there has been a dispute between the police and the district council over which organisation is responsible for removing the car.
The police have said they know who the owner of the car is and that he has told them he would be recovering it.
