POLICE are appealing for information after a Tuffley man was robbed and his trainers and mobile phone stolen.
The robbery happened on a footpath near to Arlingham Road at around 8.30pm on Wednesday January 8.
A 20-year-old local man was walking along a footpath when he was approached by two men. One of the men asked him for money and drugs, so the victim handed over his Blackberry mobile phone. The men then attacked the victim and stole his blue Nike trainers that he was wearing at the time.
One of the attackers is described as male, around 20-years-old and around 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing dark clothes.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 438 of January 8.
