A CREW from Cricklade was called out to deal with a medical emergency during the national firefighters’ strike on New Year’s Eve.
The incident, was one of three incidents that happened after members of the Fire Brigades Union walked out for six hours from 6.30pm. The other two were false alarms in Westbury and Bradford-on-Avon. All were dealt with by retained crews.
Further industrial action is planned for 6.30am to 8.30am tomorrow.
