The A435 between Cirencester and Severn Springs is closed following a serious accident near Rendcomb where one person was killed and another seriously injured after being hit by a car that mounted a verge.
Police recommend that following the accident which occured last last night (Friday, December 20) drivers should use the A417 Cirencester to Birdlip, then the A436, before rejoining the A435 at Seven Springs.
There is no time scheduled for reopening the road as investigations are pending.
